Queen Mother Kimberly West

 

Every great quest begins with a mapmaker.

Kimberly West — known to her kingdom as the Queen Mother — is the founder and visionary behind 4 Kingdoms Quest, headquartered in Southern California. A native of The Castle and The Circus kingdoms, she has spent years charting the inner landscape of human personality, turning ancient archetypes into a living, breathing world.

Her credentials span teaching, counseling, corporate finance, and marketing. At just 26, she became the youngest executive and only woman heading the cash management department at AM International — a former Fortune 500 company — and was inducted into Who's Who in the West for her achievements at Architectural Digest. A true Castle at her core.

But the kingdom she is most proud of building is this one.

After surviving a series of life-altering events — including being struck by three drunk drivers in a single month — Kimberly faced a heart condition that reshaped how she works. Rather than retreat, she adapted. She was awarded an Entrepreneurs with Disabilities grant, and from that crucible of challenge, her most creative work was born.

Together with a former Disney animator, she co-created The Four Purrsonalities — animated big cat characters whose spots shift in size with their energy, whose markings carry musical notes, and whose personalities mirror the four kingdoms you'll find on this very map.

"After years of creating a whole kingdom with over twelve characters," she said, "the only title that seemed right was Queen Mother."

She is currently developing a new online personality assessment — a game-like, animated map experience — and is open to partnerships for this next chapter of the quest.

The map is still being drawn. The adventure is far from over.
